We are in

OSLO

Oslo, the capital of Norway, blends natural beauty with cultural charm and boasts a unique Nordic style.

View Point in Oslo

Oslo is a modern city, with clusters of office buildings and high-rise residential towers. It is also lined with a wide variety of shopping malls and boutique stores. The colorful cottages on the outer islands are not for sale, even if you have the money — they are holiday homes for local Norwegian residents.

Food in Oslo

The truffle and wild mushroom pasta, sprinkled with cheese powder, is incredibly aromatic.

Oslo is home to restaurants from various countries — whether Asian, American, Italian, or other European neighboring nations — but it’s most famous for its local seafood and steak dishes.

Oslo Travel Tips

Oslo is the capital city, so food, accommodation, and transportation are all very convenient. If you’re joining a cruise tour, you can find a hotel closer to the harbor. For transportation, taking the bus is basically sufficient. The main attractions are museums, art galleries, and historical science museums.

However, it’s quite far from the harbor — whether walking or taking transportation, it takes a considerable distance. It’s also a bit of a walk from the shopping center, and it takes more than 10 minutes to walk from Oslo Central Station to the hotel.

Transportation

Bergen to Oslo

Traveling from Bergen to Oslo by plane takes only 50 minutes, while by bus it may take 2-3 hours. It’s convenient to take an SAS flight from Bergen Airport, then transfer to a train to Oslo Central Station upon arriving in Oslo.

Must-see Spots

Munch Museum

The Munch Museum houses the world-famous artwork "The Scream". Many people mistakenly believe it was painted by Van Gogh, but that’s not the case.

National Museum of History

The National Museum of History exhibits numerous artifacts from the Ice Age, as well as large ice blocks transported to the city from the Arctic on the same day.

Shopping Things

The supermarkets here are really worth exploring — make sure to leave enough time and luggage space for them! No matter what else I bought, I still couldn’t stop myself from getting a Louis Vuitton.
